Drug investigation at Gays Mills leads to arrests of five adults on meth charges

Five people were taken to the Crawford County jail, after a weekend drug bust in Gays MIlls.

Officers executed a search warrant Frrday night, finding meth, marijuana, mushrooms, and money in the house on Main Street in Gays Mills. Seven adults and a child were inside the residence at the time. The five adults arrested all are accused of possessing meth, and one also faces a charge of neglecting a child. Charges are pending against the other two adults.

The persons taken to jail in Prairie du Chien are identified as Nicholas Cullen, Douglas Smith, Chad Munson, Ariel Tiderman, and Jourdan Womack. Those adults range in age from 25 to 76. Cullen is from Boscobel, and Womack and Munson live in De Soto. Tiderman and Smith are from Gays MIlls. The sheriff’s department says the child was safely removed from the residence.

Officers discovered meth and marijuana in the residence, as well as marijuana, mushrooms, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Court appearances are expected this week.
