From protest to parody: Democrats on full Display along Losey
Only in 2025 can you drive down Losey Boulevard and see adult Democrats having a full-blown emotional meltdown in public.
I saw some of the vilest signs imaginable at their little protest, including a young woman holding one that read “CECOT = Auschwitz.”
She was actually equating a prison for gang members, rapists, and murderers to the industrial slaughter of 6 million Jews.
Right next to her, a middle-aged white woman clung to a sign that said, “we shall overcome.”
Apparently, she’s convinced that middle-aged white women now have a civil rights crisis.
And to round things out, a “Follow the Science” protester was demanding climate action by yelling at traffic.
It wasn’t a protest, but it was, for the first time, Democrats and La Crosse finally showing the public exactly who they are — loud, reckless, unhinged, and completely disconnected from reality.

Once again, you nailed it Andy.
If the organizers were smart they could have sold tickets to see the spectacle. But if they were smart, they would have been doing something more constructive than making fools of themselves (or letting themselves be made a fool of).
Apparently, the spectacle was a joint effort between the local dems and activists from Madison. Go figure.
But hey, give them credit for showing up. Local republican’ts and independents sit on the sidelines.

Now buckle up for the bumpy ride of backlash from the people who are oblivious of the truth even though it was on full display at the corner of Losey and State Road.

It’s what La Crosse has become, Andy, in the absence of a viable Republican Party for years. The majority of voters are:
1. College kids who are courted regularly to vote here before they go back to where they came from for the summer.
2. Their college teachers who imitate the students all summer long.
3. Medical people following “the science” and the educated Democrats.
4. Minorities who have settled here, largely to escape the Democrat hell of Chicago and Milwaukee but still vote for Democrats.
5. Descendants of union folk who used to have some clout in the brewery and factories, now long gone, but imitate their parents.
6. County, School district teachers and employees and City union government workers who vote for Democrats.
The detached Lot of Losey gets marching orders for the Saturday charade from afar, from leaders unknown but all-knowing, just steps away from County and 3rd District Democrat headquarters, and it’s sire, Ivan Garcia.
How can you criticize success? they run the La Crosse County Board, La Crosse Mayor and Council, La Crosse School Board, Assemblymen Shelby Johnson and Bill Jillings, Mr. Bi-Partisan Steve Doyle and Photo-Op Sen. Brad Pfaff.
The Saturday charade is what success looks like in La Crosse politics.

Best description was they are old hippies and their middle aged government union employee children who have never earned a private business paycheck and are oblivious to real taxpayers.

Thanks for pointing out that every government employee has never earned a real paycheck and are not real taxpayers. The La Crosse PD does an amazing job and should be given the credit they deserve.

I drove through the intersection during both protests. There have been at least two. I didn’t hear any cars honking their approval. A few middle fingers and thumbs down. All they do is protest against everything. They have nothing good and positive to offer.

I am sick and tired of hearing about climate change. Yes it is real but the left who keep yelling never ever consider the fact that:
Russia, despite sanctions, is selling oil to among others China and Africa
China is building coal plants as fast as possible.
OPEC is alive and doing well
