Tomah man facing attempted homicide charge

A Tomah man is arrested on charges including attempted 1st degree intentional homicide after an incident Saturday night.
Tomah Police said they sent officers to a residence in the 800 block of Dogwood Lane at 9:15 p.m. for a physical disturbance between two men who lived together.
They found one of the men with facial injuries and a possible stab wound to the chest.
He was taken to Tomah Health where he was treated and released.
The second person left the residence before officers arrived.
Edwin J. Ross, 51, was found the next day in Black River Falls where Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested him.
He’s now in the Monroe County Jail on charges including the attempted homicide charge, reckless injury, aggravated battery, battery, and disorderly conduct.
