With severe weather approaching Monday evening, the City of La Crosse has lifted the parking ramp ban, noted areas for shelter and will end bus service early.

“Every La Crosse Community member’s safety is of the utmost importance,” Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey said in a statement. “I am working very closely with the City Police and Fire Chiefs as well as other city department leaders as we prepare for this event. I encourage all residents to continue to monitor the weather and stay tuned to our city website, social media, etc. for information. Please take this seriously and be safe.”
