UW-La Crosse’s all-time touchdown leader is getting a look from the pros on the other side of the state.

The UW-La Crosse football team posted that Jack Studer has received an invitation from the Green Bay Packers for its upcoming rookie minicamp.

The announcement comes after the conclusion of the NFL draft that happened at Lambeau Field last Thursday through Saturday.

Studer, an Eyota, Minn., native, is UW-L’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions and receiving yards.

If he would make the team, he’d join UW-L alum Bill Schroeder as the only other wide receiver to play for the Packers.

Schroeder was drafted in the sixth round in 1994. He scored 20 touchdowns during his career with the team.
