We don’t know yet how many people may have flown through the La Crosse airport for Easter and spring break travel, but the numbers are encouraging compared to last year.

The airport’s latest figures on passengers taking scheduled flights in and out of La Crosse show 3579 riders during March of this year, nearly 40 per cent above the total from last March. Year-to-date figures for 2025 are also close to 40 per cent above the number from the first three months of last year, adding up to nearly 93-hundred through the end of March.

The busiest month for the airport in 2024 was August, with just over four thousand passengers taking airline trips to and from La Crosse. Passenger numbers dropped a bit when Delta Air Lines ended service to La Crosse in 2023, but the airport has been talking with Delta officials about resuming service.

Would be nice to have a La Crosse to Milwaukee connection, when Midwest aka Skyways were around! Now you have to fly to O’Hara and then to Milwaukee.
