William Garcia, the La Crosse County and 3rd Congressional District Democratic Party chair in the WIZM studio for La Crosse Talk.

William Garcia is in studio discussing his running for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair on the platform of “Grow – Persist – Resist,” as well potentially taking over for Ben Wikler, who Garcia calls the best state chair in the country.

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-8 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk wherever you get your podcasts.

Garcia has been the chair of the La Crosse County Democratic Party for the past five years — he is co-chair this year. He is also the chair of the 3rd Congressional District Democratic Party and the Secretary/Treasurer of the DPW Latino Caucus.

Garcia discusses the idea behind his platform in supporting and enhancing local parties, as he sees things have gotten too top-down.

Spent the last third of the show discussing the Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia situation — the Maryland father, who the Trump administration said they accidentally deported to an El Salvador prison.

Mid-show we took a break from politics to talk movies — as we typically do with Garcia — with the new Tron trailer recently coming out.

Leave it to Rick he and his “soy bouy” Gracia are so left field. Can hardly wait until AI takes over the morning show.
