Pump prices in La Crosse linger just above $3, with some cheaper gas outside the city

Filling your gas tank for the holiday weekend may be a little cheaper outside the city of La Crosse, than in town.

The Gas Buddy website shows stations in Onalaska and West Salem selling regular for $2.94 per gallon, compared to just over $3 in La Crosse. Across the river, gas in La Crescent also sells for a little above the 3-dollar mark.

The lowest price in the state so far this weekend is $2.65 per gallon, found mainly in the Milwaukee area. Around the U.S., the current average for gas is $3.16, which is about 50 cents cheaper than this time a year ago.

    So gas is cheaper under the Trump administration than Biden. He’s the worse president ever. The evilest president. It’s not because of him.

    THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. President Donald Trump told me that gas prices are $2.00 a gallon!!! When I went to the pump they were not. The only thing this admin has done for us has crashed our 401ks so all their cronies can buy up the funds once they’re done crashing the market and the dollar.
