State Reps. Jill Billings, Brad Pfaff holding budget listening session in La Crosse today

Democratic Wisconsin state Assembly Rep. Jill Billings and state Sen. Brad Pfaff will hold a budget listening session at 4 p.m. today at the La Crosse Main Street library.

While the state’s Joint Finance Committee is holding four statewide sessions on the budget, none of those are even close to southwestern Wisconsin — the closest being Wausau on April 28.

So, Pfaff and the La Crosse-area state Assembly reps. have been holding local sessions the past two weeks.

Billings (D-La Crosse) in District 95, Tara Johnson (D-Shelby) in District 96 and Steve Doyle (D-Onalaska) in District 94, have held sessions already.

Pfaff, who represents Senate District 32, has also been at those.
