A 41-year-old Stoddard man and his passenger on a motorcycle were killed in a collision on Sunday afternoon northwest of Cashton.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the motorcycle was heading west on Highway 33 near County Highway X just after 5 p.m.

As the motorcycle was going around a corner, the man lost control. He was thrown from the motorcycle.

The passenger and motorcycle then crashed into an oncoming 2018 Chevy Cruze.

Both died at the scene. None of the people inside the Cruze were injured.

The sheriff’s office said they aren’t releasing the names of the crash victims until family are notified.
