UW System: Trailblazers for the new “No Consequences Culture”

Published

As I See It

Well, the UW system could not be more of an embarrassment to the state of Wisconsin if it even tried.

First, we have Joe Gow, whose tenure did not have a happy ending. He was fired for moonlighting as a DIY porn star.

Next up, we have LeVar Charleston, UW-Madison’s DEI chief, handing out $200,000 in bonuses without any consultation like it was Monopoly cash.

And now, José Felipe Alvergue, a UW-Eau Claire professor who made headlines for destroying a college Republican display supporting Brad Schimmel.

The worst part of this is Charleston and Alvergue have not resigned or been fired. And that says all you need to know about their character and the UW system’s lack of accountability.

So now it’s time for the legislature to hold the UW system accountable, investigate, and find out exactly what is going on at our universities, and hold them accountable for the student’s sake and for the taxpayer.

As I see it, I’m Andy Parrish.

    Your editorial is spot on.

But it needs to be pointed out that in the days before the electon WIZM gave no coverage of Alvergue, the UW Eau Claire professor who attacked a campus republican students for Schimel display. (Yet the Democrat’s “get Musk” theme coverage was non-stop on WIZM.)

Why would you expect consequences for the professor when your own station buries the story?

Well, now that the election is over, I guess it’s OK to start printing and broadcasting the nefarious acts carried out by the radical left. There is no doubt in my mind that the media decided the outcomes of the recent election by cherry picking what is news and what is not news.

Quit complaining. After the election, the media rightly pointed out that Musk and Soros did most of the Wisconsin Supreme Court race spending. Before the election, the media was very busy reporting all of Musk’s activities.

Roy, read todays’s “here is what we want you to believe” article from WIZM. It states Musk gave $3 million and Soros + Prizker gave a combined $3.5 million.

If $100 million was spent on the race it would be nice to know where the other $93.5 million came from.

The reporting on this matter is pure anti-Trump, anti-Musk propaganda.

Back to the column above, an article addressing the attack by a Leftist professor on Republican students at UW Eau Claire has yet to be published by WIZM. Apparently, even Mr. Parrish doesn’t rely on WIZM for accurate and full reporting.

I’m waiting for my hundred bucks. Anyone seen theirs yet?

What, of course, I meant was that the media talked incessantly prior to the election about Musk and his antics only (nothing about Soros), and after the election admitted that Soros was deeply involved.
Liberals like to scream when someone they don’t like is involved in politics on the right, but crickets abound when a shady Hungarian is funding all their pet candidates.
