Although the weather is expected to make a turn back towards winter on Tuesday, the City of La Crosse wants to remind voters that in-person absentee voting is still available.

The city has two locations set up for Tuesday where people can come and vote.

One is at the Cleary Friends & Alumni Center at 615 East Ave. North on the UW-La Crosse campus just off of La Crosse Street.

Voting is open there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The other is the Southside Neighborhood Center at 1300 6th St. S.

The facility is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The City Clerk’s office reminds people coming to the polls that they do need a photo ID.

If a person needs to register to vote, that can be done as well. Proof of residence is required.

To check whether you have the acceptable documents, visit the City Clerk’s website to check on what documents are accepted or call the City Clerk’s Office at 608-789-7510.

For additional voter information, go to the MyVoteWisconsin website.
