Mt. La Crosse closes for the season

Downhill skiers and snowboarders have to find a new place to go to get that last run of the winter season.
Mt. La Crosse is now officially closed for the season.
The warm weather during the day and above freezing temperatures at night meant the ski hill wasn’t able to keep the snow on the ground for one last weekend trip down the slopes.
They are celebrating the end of the season with their annual Mountain Meltdown Party on Saturday afternoon with music, food, and activities for kids.
This year, Mt. La Crosse celebrated 65 years being in the skiing business.
