Debate gives La Crosse mayoral candidates opportunity to share views on issues

It’s a chance to hear from the candidates for La Crosse Mayor ahead of the start of in-person absentee voting starting next week.

WIZM News teams up with the League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area, UW-L’s Political Science Department, and the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce for a mayoral debate on Wednesday, March 12 on the UW-La Crosse campus.

The debate is at 6 p.m. at the Cleary and Friends Alumni Center. Doors to the center open at 5:15 p.m.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend.

It’s an opportunity to hear from both candidates, Chris Kahlow and Shaundel Washington-Spivey about their thoughts on the issues facing voters in La Crosse.

In case you can’t attend, WIZM News is carrying the event live on WIZM 1410 AM, 92.3 FM.

We’ll also stream it live on the WIZM News website and other digital platforms.
