One injured in northside La Crosse shooting

La Crosse Police are investigating a shooting Sunday afternoon that left one person ending up in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The department said it happened at 4:28 p.m. in the 1200 block of Logan Street.

That is just two blocks from Logan High School.

When officers got there, they found one person who was wounded by a gunshot.

That person, who police haven’t identified, was taken to the hospital.

According to a department statement, they believe the shooting was an isolated incident.

The statement said it continues to be an active investigation.

Police are asking anyone who lives in the area around that area that has a camera to look at their video from around that time and contact if the camera caught any suspicious activity.

They’re also looking for anyone with information about the shooting to call La Crosse Police.
