‘A circus sideshow’
Politics used to be about debate, problem solving, and putting the country first.
Now it’s devolved into a circus sideshow.
Representative Al Green had to be escorted out from the House chamber like a toddler mid-meltdown.
Derrick Van Orden shouted lies during President Biden’s State of the Union address, and as we saw Tuesday night, Democrats sat and waved protest signs because apparently Congress is now a college sit-in protest.
Meanwhile, Americans are dealing with real issues like inflation, unemployment, skyrocketing health care costs, and so on.
But instead of solutions, our so-called leaders are too busy promoting themselves and performing for the cameras.
The House and Senate chambers are sacred grounds.
It’s where history has been made and where our forefathers shaped our nation’s destiny.
It is not a place for grown adults to throw temper tantrums.
Grow up, our next election cycle we’ll put the adults back in charge.

It was a selfish, immature display of how most liberals view the democratic process. If they lose the election, if leftist laws are repealed or are not passed, they pout.
They pout with no expression as honored guests who experienced loss and tragedy are given recognition by the President.
They pout, expressionless, as American ideals and hopes for the days ahead are recited.
They make a mockery of the timeless term “The Loyal Opposition.”

Agreed Andy. It was super embarrassing for both sides. The democrats acted like crybabies and the republicans acted like 13-year-old boys chanting USA USA USA.
There was very little discussion on the important topics like you mentioned… It was basically an Oprah episode… You get this, you get that, this person’s accepted to West Point… WHO CARES
Like you said… start working on actual problems and helping the average American.

Andy, the adults are in charge now, and that is what is burning in every Dem’s, heads! The goon squads in LaCrosse are after Derrick Van Orden locally, under the guidence of chief thug Wm Garcia! They offer nothing of any value just that they know how to make signs and act like spoiled brats!

Very good point. Hopefully we see some decorum restored. For me that includes Men wearing jackets on the house and senate floor and a ban on props.
