As I See It

In-Person absentee balloting begins on March 18 in the City of La Crosse. One of the races on the ballot is that of La Crosse Mayor.

WIZM News is collaborating with the League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area, UW-La Crosse’s Political Science department, and the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce to bring you a forum on Wednesday, March 12, featuring the two candidates: Chris Kahlow and Shaundel Washington-Spivey.

The event is at the Cleary Alumni and Friends Center at UW-La Crosse starting at 6 p.m. The doors will open shortly after 5 p.m. You are welcome to attend and listen to what the candidates have to say about issues you see as important to you, your family, and the city.

We’ll also stream it on our website and digital platforms in case you can’t attend.

I do hope you’ll listen with an open mind to what’s being said by the candidates as you decide who will run the city for the next four years. I hope to see you there on March 12.
