Two drivers charged with being drug-impaired in separate Crawford County cases

Crawford County officers made two arrests Monday for drug-impaired driving on the same highway, in a period of about eight hours. Both men reportedly are now awaiting court appearances.

Joshua Czap of Prairie du Chien was pulled over along Highway 35 at Eastman on Monday afternoon. The 49-year-old Czap was taken to the county jail, for allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs.

Hours after that arrest, another driver was pulled over on Highway 35, this time in Seneca.  David Salis, age 40, of Dubuque also showed signs of drug impairment, and he was driving on a revoked license.  Salis has a court hearing scheduled for March 17th.
