Find a better way to raise funds

One of the proposals that Governor Evers makes in his budget is an increase in license fees to hunt and fish in the state.

The last time that happened was 2005.

It’s been a pretty good deal for the last 20 years and still is. I wouldn’t mind though if the proposed fees for non-resident licenses went up a little more and the resident licenses not go up quite so much.

For example, the Resident Small Game license is more than doubling in price from $16 to $36.

I understand that the DNR’s Fish and Wildlife Account needs additional revenue to maintain and protect our resources.

License increases are understandable but not at the expense of the people that live here.

At a time when the number of people actively involved in hunting and fishing are going down, this isn’t the best way to encourage people to get involved in those activities.

    How about get someone to listen to your broadcasts.
    Currently , two ads playing same time , program on and ads running at same time .Pro ads for PM show , on the ad Rick says recently and the ad is 5 years old . Sign pro ads run back to back.
    This morning yesterday’s AsI See It at 7:30 was from yesterday.
    I think you could use some help.
