Viterbo University is inviting the community to campus Friday to unite in prayer for the health of Pope Francis, during a special mass at the San Damiano Chapel.

The Vatican said Pope Francis has shown further slight improvement as he battles double pneumonia, but doctors still say his prognosis is still guarded, according to the AP.

Viterbo’s special mass will begin at noon Friday, praying for the health of the Pope. The chapel is located (map) at the corner of 10th Street and Franciscan Way.

The university also says if you can’t attend, it encourages “a moment of silent prayer at 12 p.m. — that time signifying the 12th year of his pontificate.”
