One week from now is Election Day here in Wisconsin.

The spring primary election voting ends Feb. 18, narrowing the candidates for four races — one statewide, the three here in La Crosse.

Those who win on Tuesday advance to the spring election, where voting ends April 1.

The state race involves choosing the two candidates for state Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Meanwhile, voters in La Crosse will decide who is on the ballot for mayor, La Crosse School Board and one city council race in District 7.

Do you know who the candidates are and what their positions are on the issues?

If you don’t, you’ve got a week to take some time and find out about each one.

WIZM News has a special page on our website where you can listen and learn who they are from their answers.

Check them out here.

Many of the candidates also have websites where you can learn more.

Then get out and vote. If you’ve already voted absentee — by ballot or in person — thanks for taking part in the process.

If not, see you at the polls next Tuesday.
