Former police officer from D.C. endorses Crawford for Supreme Court during stop in La Crosse

A former police officer at the U.S. Capitol has come to La Crosse to endorse a Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate.
Harry Dunn was on duty during the January 6th riot at the Capitol in Washington. Dunn is endorsing Susan Crawford in the high court race. He told an audience at the Machinist Union hall on Rose Street that Crawford’s opponent, Brad Schimel, should have criticized President Trump’s pardons of people who took part in the Capitol attack.
“I don’t know his policies,” said Dunn. “I know he failed, failed to do the simple thing of rejecting Donald Trump’s pardoning of the violent extremists that attacked law enforcement, that attacked police officers, that tried to overthrow democracy.”

Dunn claims Schimel is “attempting to play both sides” in supporting police, to “please Donald Trump, and kinda stand up for decency, democracy kinda thing. Kinda? Wisconsin deserves better than a ‘kinda.'” The veteran policeman also said that it’s important to come to Wisconsin, because the state seems to be “the epicenter of everything.”
Dunn appeared in La Crosse along with State Senator Brad Pfaff and two veteran officials of the Eau Claire Police. Schimel and Crawford are on the Supreme Court ballot in April, and the election is expected to determine the political majority on the court.

Mr. Pfaff should take these two goons and head back to Madison, Milwaukee or Illinois, wherever. We do not need any more union thugs here, we already have a swamp!

You would think that with his election past Brad Pfaff would take some time off from photo ops. He needs to worry about his own job and keep his nose out of the Supreme Court race. As was said, a former DC cop has no interest in our Supreme Court race. Report back to Nancy Pelosi who let things get out of hand in his town.

Hmm…Just a question. Did Harry Dunn, Susan Crawford, and Brad Pfaff do “the simple thing of rejecting” Joe Biden’s pardon of those convicted of crimes and for “pre-emptively” blanket pardoning democrat members of congress, the January 6th committee, and a multitude of others for crimes they have not been accused of committing (easily construed as an admission of guilt)? This sounds like selective political grandstanding to me. It is concerning when those with a clear political agenda dream up criticisms against a supreme court candidate for not doing or saying something. If former police officer Harry Dunn is going to do that, shouldn’t he hold Joe Biden up to the same standard? Shouldn’t our local media point it out? How about Susan Crawford or Brad Pfaff. When will you two criticize Joe Biden for his actions?

How do you bash someone while simultaneously stating ‘I don’t know his policies’… I don’t support what happened Jan6th/or the pardons but come on…

My thoughts exactly. And the only thing worse than a local republican party that does nothing is a local democrat party that thinks it’s a good idea to bring in this guy to insult our intelligence.
I suppose after the show, Dunn, Pfaff and Ivan Garcia all high-fived their Blackness and headed over to the Ponderosa for an all-you-can-eat wings extravaganza on their per diem.
Gotta give WIZM an honorable mention; they actually thought this was newsworthy?
Good grief.

What trump did in pardoning the violent offenders was despicable. What is far worse is the fact Joe Biden pardoned his son not only for tax evasion and gun charges but for any action taken back to 2014.
Then the National Archives releases photos of Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and Hunter’s Chinese business associates taken in 2014.
The media- no outrage in fact, they hardly mentioned it.
