Argument leads to north side La Crosse shooting, sending one to hospital

An argument apparently led to a shooting early Sunday on the north side of La Crosse, leaving one person injured, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 2:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of George Street.
Upon arrival, they found one person outside who had been shot. Police said life-saving measures were performed before taking them to the hospital.
Authorities believe the shooting was an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing.
