La Crosse MTU director Adam Lorentz may not have gotten the joke on whether or not he was driving to work Tuesday morning, but he did join WIZM to talk about the city taking part in “a week without driving.”

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-9 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

The event is happening in multiple areas throughout the US, and groups across the area are helping promote it. With Lorentz, we began simply talking about his job, how the EV busses are working, before getting into what the city is doing in regards to “a week without driving.”

We actually have people on the payroll promoting this stuff?

We obviously need a City Administrator (who would spend even more money to make it a bigger and better adventure into the world of virtue signaling).
