A 43-year-old Minnesota woman has been charged in Vernon County, after a pair of run ins with law enforcement.
Jennifer Jo Taube was initially arrested July 23, after a “driving complaint and pursuit that originated in Vernon County and terminated in Crawford County,” according to the Vernon County Sheriff Office news release.
Taube was released on a $500 signature bond the next day with several conditions, including not commit any crimes, the news release stated.
She was formally charged a month later with reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and fleeing an officer in a vehicle.
Last Saturday, Taube was arrested in La Crosse for knowingly violating a domestic-abuse order and meth possession, the sheriff’s office stated. She was taken to Vernon County jail on bail jumping charges.
She was released the next day on a $5,000 signature bond and is due back in court Oct. 13.
