This is our homeland security?
How is it even possible? It sounds more like the movie “War Games.” But a 21-year old was able to steal highly classified government documents and share them online with a bunch of gamers. That is the argument of federal prosecutors. A court hearing was held yesterday for Jack Teixeira, the Air National guardsman being charged under the Espionage Act with unauthorized retention and transmission of classified national defense information. How was he able to secure such highly classified information? Apparently, somehow, he had a high security clearance that allowed him access to very sensitive information. Then he posted it on a website popular with gamers, where it was viewed for months, providing information about Ukrainian and Russian troop positions. No one seemed to notice that Teixeira allegedly used government computers to search about past mass shootings and standoffs with federal agents. He talked of violence and murder on social media as well as an “assassination van.” He got in trouble as a kid for talking in school about Molotov cocktails. It seems there were plenty of red flags here. Why did no one notice, or do anything? Finding that out needs to be the next step in the investigation, or there may be more embarrassing and dangerous leaks in the future.

It’s too bad we had to find out about what the real information about some of what our government is really doing by a young man doing IT. That’s why he had such a high security clearance.
As far as what he talked about in high school but did nothing about is irrelevant. We have all talked about a lot of things in our lifetime and did nothing but talk. I would question where some of the information like that actually comes from, since the government is no longer trustworthy.

The mainstream media has sold out to the left wing of the Democratic Party. If they havd not, the Steele report would have been torn apart as it should have been. The Biden laptop fiasco would have been fodder for months with information dribbling out about his shady dealings and his father’ s knowledge.
The New York Times in 1974 apologized for their over the top of Nixon; they went after his family as well and did not properly investigate or report on Chappaquidick Ted.
These are not conspiracy theories butt undisputed facts and I have many more.
The people who participated in the January 6th riots are being prosecuted and going to jail.
The media is a BIGGER threat to democracy than those individuals could ever be.
I admire Senator Scott for his interest in becoming President but fear as well. The left will be out to destroy him since he has succeeded as have many African Americans and they can’t stand that because only they know what is good for you and me.
