Wisconsin Senate new supermajority already plotting for power

What is the biggest takeaway from Tuesday’s elections in Wisconsin? Voters in La Crosse choose a new school board and approved more spending for the school district. Statewide, voters approved giving judges more leeway in setting bail and overwhelmingly voted for Judge Janet to take a seat on the Supreme Court. That changes the court’s balance of power as it is poised to consider hot-button issues like abortion rights. But perhaps the biggest takeaway is from a local election that happened in Milwaukee’s northern suburbs, where Dan Knodl was elected a state Senator to represent that area. That win gives Republicans a supermajority in the Senate, where they now have a two-thirds majority, enough to override a gubernatorial veto, and if some have their way, start impeaching Democratic office holders like Governor Evers, Attorney General Josh Kaul, even newly elected Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz. She hasn’t even taken her oath of office yet, and some lawmakers are already making plans to impeach her. It seems they couldn’t be more power-hungry as they celebrate their supermajority by threatening to impeach people who were overwhelmingly elected by Wisconsin voters. And it certainly doesn’t respect the will of the voters.

Gotta love the use of the word “plotting” here. How many times when the Dems had control did SRS and the rest of the Wisconsin news media refer to them “plotting” I wonder? It reminds me of how, whenever the Repubs become a majority anywhere, there are stories in the news asking what the Dems have to do to get THEIR power back… as if they’re always supposed to have said power… as if the norm is the Dems in power.

Democrat Liberals and “progressives” sure love to slam Republicans whenever they have some measure to counter them. I think that the Democrats had better be silent and still lest their sins be exposed to the light of truth. There is enough out there to show how truly off they are and yet they keep shooting off their mouths while forgetting to engage their mental filters before opening those gaping cesspools below their noses. I think if any party, any group of like minded people in our republic today could be accused of “plotting” things, it would be the Democrats. They are single handedly destroying our republic and those that support them are like Stockholm Syndrome captives who support them blindly. I hope that eventually, the rabid supporters of the Democrats will wake the hell up and see daylight but I doubt it. They won’t stop until they destroy what our nation is in order to rebuild in some warped vision they have for what is normal. God help us all.
