LISTEN: La Crosse School Board candidates interviewed on WIZM

Published

on

With the spring voting cycle ending on Tuesday, one important choice for La Crosse School District residents is who will make up half their school board.

Eight candidates are running for La Crosse School Board with four open seats to fill. The top three vote getters will get full three-year terms, while the fourth will fill out a one-year term, due to a resignation.

Below are the candidate interviews from La Crosse Talk PM.

A lot of these conversations hovered around public trust and transparency; future budget concerns and building consolidation; the six-year, $60-million operating budget referendum and the past $194.7 million failed referendum to consolidate schools and build a new high school.
