As I See It

The inmates are running the asylum

She was once punished for her extremist views. Now she is being rewarded for them. Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has a history of pushing dangerous conspiracy theories, spreading antisemitic and anti-Muslim messages and has shown support for calls to execute prominent democrats, including Nancy Pelosi. She doubted whether 9/11 really happened, and continues to claim the election was stolen. Her controversial and dangerous comments led to her being stripped of her committee assignments, meaning she had very little power in Washington. That was then, this is now. Greene hasn’t changed her stance. She still pals around with white nationalists, and suggested if she led the insurrection on January 6, they would have been armed and they would have been successful. But instead of being punished for her bizarre views, Greene is being rewarded by new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy has appointed Greene to serve on the Homeland Security Committee, the committee charged with keeping the United States safe from terrorists, both foreign and domestic. A QAnon conspiracy theorist and January 6 insurrectionist has no place on a committee that exists to fight extremism.

While I don’t agree at all with Miss Greene’s ideology, if you take her name out of the above listed article it could be a everyday episode on “The View”.
The only difference is, there are at least 3 people on “The View” who spew this hatred everyday.

This is what happens when a person lusts after a job that he will do anything to become speaker . She has no business being on any committee. Neither does the Minnesota democratic representative who has spewed anti semitic remarks for years.
The one writer is correct in that there are people on the View that spew hate all the time and it is allowed by the network.
In fact, based on some of their statements you wonder what alternative universe they are residing.
Schumer and Schiff rushed to judgment on the dance hall shooting stating white supremacy when it turned out that it was an elderly oriental man.
The media is hiding so much from the public that is damaging to the left that you wonder how anyone can believe them.
I, over the years, have gone after anyone who deserves it regardless of what party or ideology

She is from Georgia not Colorado might want to do a little more research before you post your story. I would expect these mistakes from a new reporter but not someone with your experience.
