VARC Inc.’s fundraising Gala will be held in the Cargill Room at the Waterfront on December 31. It’s a black tie event, so a fabulous reason to dust off your ball gowns, tuxes, evening wear, and suits.

Elizabeth Filter, VARC’s President and CEO, told Z93, “VARC Inc. is an organization that provides employment and life skills services to kids and adults with disabilities in the area.” They have numerous locations throughout Wisconsin, with three in La Crosse.

Their New Year’s Eve Gala is supporting one of those locations. Their child and youth programming supports kids with developmental disabilities as well as mental health diagnoses ages 3-18.

The event will have a champagne tower as guests enter, passed hors d’oeuvres and a harpist starting at 6. Then, the Driftless Urban Orchestra will be playing through the three course dinner.

Filter said the live auction has some amazing items, including a trip to Cabo, artwork, and a fly-in breakfast for two out of Colgan air on a charter plane.

The Gala also features a private fireworks show over the river from Skyline Fireworks, followed by guest DJ Four7, Superbowl Champion and Wisconsin Badger Hall of Famer, Travis Beckum.

Tickets are $100 for the Gala and sales are open through December 16, available online HERE.
