Eastbound traffic on Interstate 90, east of Nodine is down to one lane of traffic due to a spill.

The Minnesota State Patrol told WIZM that seven cars were damaged driving through silicon silicon sealant that had fallen off a semi. The semi driver also did not stop.

Several five-gallon pails fell onto the interstate near mile marker 268 on Nodine Hill.

The incident was reported by the DOT around 3:45 p.m. As of 5 p.m. the DOT was still cleaning that lane of traffic throughout the night and said it will continue with cleanup Wednesday morning.

The Minnesota DOT has not said whether the driver responsible was caught or even knew the sealant fell off the truck.
