One person dies, another injured in La Crosse shooting incident

Two people have been shot, and one of them has died, in an early Sunday morning incident in the 1900 block of South 7th Street, near Gundersen.

La Crosse police say a call of shots fired came in shortly before 1:30 a.m. Officers found an individual who had been shot multiple times, and life-saving measures were performed, but the victim died. A second person who was shot is being treated at a local hospital.
