Traffic shift on Mormon Coulee begins at 7 a.m. Thursday

Southbound traffic on Mormon Coulee Road in La Crosse will shift for a stretch beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday.

A stretch 300 feet in both directions of 20th Street will shift southbound traffic lanes, though both lanes will remain open. Construction is estimated to last until Monday.

Utility work is being done in the area and large machinery and workers will be close to traffic.

Drivers should use caution when driving through this area.
