As I See It

Shut down election “investigation” before any more taxpayer money is wasted

It is becoming more apparent what a sham the so-called investigation into Wisconsin’s 2020 presidential election has become. Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman was hired by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to investigate possible improprieties into the election. That was a strange choice, given Gabelman’s adoration of former President Donald Trump who he claimed was robbed of an election victory. Hardly an impartial investigation. Yet taxpayers footed the bill for this boondoggle, to the tune of $670,000. The investigation uncovered nothing new, just more unsubstantiated allegations when it was presented a month ago. The bottom line remains that Joe Biden defeated Trump in Wisconsin, and that the election was safe and secure. But Gableman insists more work is needed to find the real fraud. Vos extended Gableman’s contract on the taxpayer’s dime, but now suggests the investigation should end in two weeks. That isn’t sitting well with Gableman, who wants to continue to make $11,000 a month to toss around more allegations of impropriety. He appeared on a Steve Bannon podcast to suggest listeners put pressure on Vos to continue the investigation. Then he went to Mar-a-lago with Trump to view a screening of a new film, “Rigged” which continues to make the false claims of a stolen election. Gableman even played a role in the film. He is quite the actor.  It has become clear this was a complete waste of taxpayer money, and should be shut down now before we spend any more money on this fraud.

Shut it down to save money or shut it down to keep the truth from coming out? I think the latter.

Shut it down now, that taxpayer money could do good somewhere else. Enough is enough time to move on that man is too invested i his own views and career to be fair or impartial. We deserve better representation.

I am so sick & tired of this B.S. I’m 70 years old and, have not seen one good thing come since I voted the first time at the age of 18. Or a politician that has his constituents in his or her mind if they show up to vote on issues. Really is it that difficult to listen to your voters or is it easier to listen to you own agenda?
Get with the program help the voters!

Robert, The 2020 election corruption investigation will cost 11 cents per WI resident. I thought I told you to stop crying.
