One dead after accident off Highway 53 in Holmen

One person was found dead in Holmen, after a single-vehicle crash just after midnight Thursday.

The Holmen Police Department said a vehicle went off road as it was headed north on Highway 53, just north of County OT.

Police said an officer “found one lone occupant deceased,” and needed help from both Onalaska and Holmen fire departments to extricate the victim.

No other information was released at this time.
