A search warrant executed by police in Coon Valley at a Lafollette Street home Monday led to two drug-related arrests.

Coon Valley Police said it had made multiple arrests in the past associated with this residence.

The first arrest came after a short foot chase that Chrisler McClurg eventually lost. The 30 year old was arrested for a parole violation, resisting/obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, though the report was not more specific as to what that was.

A search of the home found methamphetamine, THC — which was described in the news release as, “the main psychoactive element in marijuana” — and more drug paraphernalia.

Jacob Hill was subsequently arrested for those discoveries. The 31 year old faces two felony and two misdemeanor charges.

No specifics as to the amount of drugs that were found or the paraphernalia confiscated.

Assisting in the arrests were the Westby, Cashton police departments, as well as the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
