Bond set at $100,000, after Holmen drive-by shooting
A high cash bond has been set for the suspect in a Holmen drive-by shooting last weekend.
La Crosse County Judge Scott Horne set the $100,000 bond on Tuesday for Wesley Dollar of Boscobel, Wis. The 31-year-old is accused of attempted murder for firing a gun into the wall of a Cliffview Drive home around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Apparently, no one was in the house, and a woman outside was narrowly missed by the gunshot when she bent down.
Investigators say Dollar faces charges in another recent incident involving the family living at that house.
More information on the shooting is expected Wednesday, when Dollar returns to court for another hearing.
Dollar is also accused of illegally possessing a firearm as a felon. He was arrested in Grant County two days after the shooting, and has failed to appear for other local court cases in the last few months.
Dollar has a long list of cases in Wisconsin Circuit Courts. He’s had eight cases since 2020 and 26 dating back to 2008 — 14 of which are driving related and nine of those were operating while suspended.
There are other serious charges, however, noted here.
