Among the things on the city of La Crosse’s Board of Public Works agenda Monday is to review bids for snow removal and looking at the next steps in dealing with lead in the La Crosse River Marsh.

The board meets at 10 a.m. every Monday at the Southside Neighborhood Center or online here. The full agenda can be found here.

The board could accept one of two bids for sidewalk removal:

  • Midwest Roll-Off, Inc., Onalaska — $63,750.00
  • Peterson Snow Plowing, LLC, La Crosse — $58,625.00

Other agenda items include revoking a “prequalification,” in reference to work done at Trane All-Abilities Park and adding about $10,000 to the first phase of the Fish Labs building renovation at Riverside Park.

In reference to the revocation, a letter from the city’s engineer reads, in part, “This memo serves as a formal request to revoke prequalification to bid on public projects in the City of La Crosse of Olympic Builders General Contractors, Inc. This is due to documented performance and compliance issues, primarily reported on the All-Abilities Trane Park – Phase I project.”
