Missing Onalaska child found dead in Milwaukee, according to police

Police in Milwaukee are reporting that the body of a missing 3-year-old boy has been found in that city.

Major Harris of Onalaska had been reported missing since Oct. 9 — last seen traveling with his mother, Mallery Muenzenberger, from La Crosse to Milwaukee. Muenzenberger was found murdered at a house in Milwaukee Oct. 14.

Police said Thursday afternoon that the boy was found dead in the area of 35th Street, on the northwest side of Milwaukee.

A statewide Amber Alert about Harris’ disappearance had been issued last weekend.

Several arrests were made late Wednesday in connection with the mother’s death. One suspect in the murder, Jaheem Clark, shot and killed himself last Sunday.

Details about how the boy died have not been released yet.
