La Crosse continues to have some of the highest gas prices in Wisconsin, according to the state AAA.
The agency says pump prices in La Crosse averaged $3.07 a week ago, higher than in most other large cities around the state.
Most stations in La Crosse now are around $3.19, though Woodman’s and the Kwik Trip near Dick’s Sporting Goods are almost always 10-cents cheaper.
The price hasn’t changed much in the past month, though.
The Wisconsin average of $3.02 a gallon is almost 20 cents down from the national average.
Appleton was the only major Wisconsin city last week with gas prices below $3.
A year ago, in the midst of the pandemic, prices were $2.09 a gallon.
