Fest medallion found under bridge near Marsh Trails

The Oktoberfest Medallion Hunt is over for this year. 

A local couple has found the Oktoberfest medallion for 2021, after 8 of the 10 clues were released. 

Fest officials tell us that Kate Lopas and John Kakacek discovered the medallion Monday morning under a bridge along marsh trails near the Kwik Trip Distribution Center. 

Kate and John win $500 cash and a prize package for finding the medallion, as well as receiving a replica of the medallion. 

Kate is the director of behavioral services for Chileda, and John is a civil engineer.
