Driver in 2016 holdup back in La Crosse County to face charges in that case

A suspect in a La Crosse robbery from five years ago has a hearing for that crime scheduled in court Wednesday.

Robert Cobb, Jr., is accused of driving a van to and from a holdup at a title loan store on Rose Street in north La Crosse back in September of 2016. 

A second man, Damario Graham, was convicted of the actual armed robbery. 

Police said Graham and Cobb fled the state after the holdup. Graham was arrested a short time after the crime. 

Cobb was not arrested until January of 2020. The 39-year-old was not brought back to La Crosse until two weeks ago. 

Graham and Cobb apparently escaped to Illinois just after the robbery.
