Apollo Music Festival this weekend in Houston and Rochester
AMF is a free classical music festival, focusing mostly on chamber music, right in our backyard.
Two music festivals this weekend just over the Mississippi River.
The Apollo Music Festival is a classical chamber music festival that has been going strong since it’s launch in 2013.
This weekend brings performances in Houston and Rochester. The concerts are free and open to the public.
Garret Ross, AMF’s Artistic Director, told Classic Hits 94.7 festival goers can expect music by classical composers, Mozart, Chopin, and more. Ross will be playing piano this weekend, and says the festival also features violin, viola, and cello.
“It’s a great time,” he said.
