During this year’s Stuff the Bus event, Walmart shoppers can drop off school supplies at The Salvation Army contactless collection bins at the front of the store.
Hope Hickman joined Mike Hayes on La Crosse Talk to talk about this weekend’s event.
The Salvation Army have partnered for more than 30 years to meet community needs through a range of social services, helping individuals and families overcome poverty and economic hardships.
This year is no different, not only in La Crosse but, in nearly 3,000 other locations similar events are taking place at Walmart stores across the country.
Can’t donate in person? They have an online registry full of the different school supplies they are looking for.
The goal is to provide new school supplies for The Coulee Region Back2School Program. For more information about The Back2School Program CLICK HERE.
