As I See It

No level of proof enough for some

For some, no matter how much evidence you present, no matter how overwhelming the evidence, they continue to refuse to believe the truth. That seems to be the case with Wisconsin State Rep. Janel Brandtjen. She continues to press for more investigation into the November election that we know was won by Joe Biden. Brandtjen is calling for a broader investigation into the election. Keep in mind, the ballots were counted, they were recounted and they were certified. When all was said and done, Wisconsin election officials say there was almost no documented cases of election fraud in the state. Two people have been charged with election fraud, out of more than 3 million votes cast in Wisconsin. The state nonetheless ordered the nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau to review the election, a process expected to continue until fall. Additionally, the Assembly Speaker hired two former detectives, under the supervision of a retired Supreme Court justice, at taxpayer expense, to review the election. Unnecessary, but still not good enough for Rep. Brandtjen, who wants to conduct a forensic review. Those Cyber Ninjas who use microscopes and ultraviolet light to examine the ballots. We don’t need more costly reviews to know what we already know. The election was safe and secure, and the outcome is not in question.
