A “shot” and free pizza offered Wed. at Snuffy’s on West Ave. in La Crosse

States around the country are offering rewards and lotteries for those who get vaccinated.

A shot and a beer has been a popular promotion — the shot, of course being the COVID-19 vaccine.

At Snuffy’s Bar in La Crosse, a shot and a slice is the promotion Wednesday from 3-6 p.m.

The county health department will be administering COVID vaccines outside the bar on West Avenue (map).

No cost (as is the case for anywhere you get the vaccine) or appointment needed. Both the one-shot J&J vaccine, as well as the two-shot Pfizer vaccine will be offered.

Participants are then invited inside for a free slice of pizza and a soda, as well as drink samples and local business coupons.
