A 39-year-old truck driver from Trempealeau has been arrested for causing a fatal collision on Highway 35 last summer.
Micah Harris reportedly crossed the center line of the highway in the town of Trempealeau last July 16 and crashed into an oncoming car.
The car’s driver, Monica Knepper of Trempealeau, died at the scene. Harris was injured.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office said Harris had a controlled substance in his blood after the crash, so he can be charged with homicide by intoxicated driving.
Harris was arrested Friday on the homicide charge.
