While Moon Tunes heads back to Riverside Park this summer, Onalaska is bringing back live music, as well.

Great River Sound at Dash Park (map) is officially back June 1. The free concerts, across the street from the Great River Landing, will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through August.

“We’re going to get a little honky-tonk action going on starting with the Time and a Half Band,” Dan Stevens, Onalaska Alderman and member of the Onalaska Hilltopper Rotary Club, told Classic Hits 94.7.

Stevens added that they are “always look for a good cause. This year we’ll pass a bucket around to collect money for the Rotary Mobile Medical Clinic,” Stevens said. “We’re partnering with St. Claire Health Mission to provide the working poor and uninsured people in the greater La Crosse area basic medical care, which we really think is important.”

A few years ago, the concerts raised money for the Onalaska Sculpture, across the street.

The full line up for the summer below, and more information can be found at their website and on the Great River Sound Facebook page.

Why? I’ve been told I can’t go to church for over a year but everything else can open up? Democrats and their dictatorship are beyond pathetic.
