Reynolds edges Markussen in La Crosse mayoral race; city council and school board go final

Published

Results on who will be La Crosse’s next mayor are just starting to come in.

With all 35 precincts reporting, Mitch Reynolds has edged Vicki Markussen 4,655-4,450.

Doesn’t look like we’ll have a recount.

La Crosse County Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer says a candidate can request a recount if it’s within 1 percent. If the winning margin is 1/4 of 1 percent, a candidate would still have to ask for the recount, but would not be charged for the cost.

This page will continuously be updated and comments from the winner after the results go final.

There are also races for seven La Crosse city council seats (Districts 7-13) and three La Crosse school board seats.

LA CROSSE SCHOOL BOARD
