The final campaign finance reports were released Thursday in the La Crosse mayor race, as the April 6 election date nears.

In total, Vicki Markussen has outraised Mitch Reynolds $36,108.40 to $20,138.36.

Reynolds, Wednesday on La Crosse Talk PM, talked some about the campaign finances. Markussen will be on the Thursday show, which begins at 5:07 p.m.

Most of Markussen’s funding came in the latest reporting period, between Feb. 2-March 22. Reynolds raised just over half his campaign funds during that period.

Removing the contributions from themselves, it appears that Markussen’s average donation was $286.59, while Reynolds’ was $112.78.

During the final reporting period, Markussen had 111 contributions from individuals, while Reynolds had 101, as well as two from “committees” — though one appears to be a reimbursement for consulting.

Here’s how those contributions broke down:

Markussen:
Zero contributions: $10 and under
41: Between $11-50
40: $51-100
9: $101-$200
10: $201-$300

Markussen also had five contributions of $1,000 — three from
the Fortney Hospitality Group, as well as six more contributions between $400-$750. There was also one contribution from herself.

Reynolds:
22 contributions: $10 and under
44: Between $11-50
25: $51-100
5: $101-$200
1: $201-$300

Reynolds had four contributions of $1,000, including his mother-in-law, as well as the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin, Inc. (which was for $1,045).

Reynolds also received $37.99 from the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, which looks to be the reimbursement, according to the report.

Those were the only two “committees” to contribute to Reynolds’ campaign. Markussen has refused to take endorsements from groups.

Markussen has spent $27,730 of her funding, while Reynolds spent $16,332..
